Mid-November, I took some time to make these hand stamped sterling silver heart necklaces for the Humane League of Philadelphia's Holiday Fundraiser.
They read in a whimsical font: eco chick with a retro flower, vegan with a peace sign and peace for all with a rabbit.
All three necklaces are packaged in reusable tins that I had stored away in a closet. I think that they make for a nice presentation. They have clear lids, which because of the glare, were removed for picture taking purposes. The round behind each necklace reads continuous "A Celebration of Animals" the theme for this extravaganza. Each necklace is made with 925 sterling silver.
The Humane League of Philadelphia is a nonprofit animal advocacy organization operating throughout the greater Philadelphia region and beyond. "We strive to create a more compassionate world for animals through education, campaigns, and rescue. Please join us in our work to save lives and reduce suffering."
Guest speakers at the event include Dr. Jonathan Balcombe, Author, The Pleasurable Kingdom: Animals and the Nature of Feeling Good and Michael Parrish DuDell, Senior Editor, EcoRazzi.com and Co-Founder VegDaily.com.
Best wishes for a very successful event!
The sterling silver hearts are quite hard to photograph as a group in terms of clarity. Actually, it is no easy task to photograph even a single one, but at least you can hone in and focus better when there is just one. It's kind of like taking a pic of tiny mirror, you can see all of them individually on the Ladies Blend website: eco chick, vegan peace sign (without the green quartz bead) and peace for all.
